“A f**king pair of shoes? I bought her a f**king career”: Kim Kardashian Absolutely Buries Sister Kourtney For Not Returning Her Favor, Says She Gave Kourtney Her Career
We won’t act naive and pretend that every member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan holds the same PR value. While the sisters and their mother helm a show that has had outstanding viewership over the years, we all know the sisters that are the popular ones and the ones who possibly don’t enjoy the same status and fame. It is not only for us to judge, even Kim Kardashian has never shied away from lording over her fame over her supposedly lesser sisters.
In one such instance, Kim K’s pride ended up with her receiving a cease and desist order. And from whom? Kourtney Kardashian, herself! However, the funniest bit about the debacle is that the entire drama ensued from talks about Kim Kardashian’s video game.
Kourtney vs Kim Kardashian
The Kim Kardashian: Hollywood video game launched in 2014, but even as Keeping Up With The Kardashians documented, it wasn’t without its trials and tribulations. For the unversed, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood is a role-playing game where one gets to live the glamorous Hollywood life of their dreams via various characters.
Kim K wanted to add her sisters, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian as characters in her game, but the discussion did not go down well with one of them. In an episode of KUWTK, Kim K meets the two sisters in an office to discuss the thing. She asks,
“I need to talk to you girls first… my video game. I wanted to see if you guys were gonna be in it. We made the characters. It looks so cute. But it’s not about the money, it’s just gonna be something you’re gonna do or not.”
While Kim K is proposing her idea, the camera panned to Kourtney, and the confusion and annoyance on her face were as plain as day. She quickly pokes back at Kim K asking why the game is going to use her name and likeness but not pay her for it. Kim can’t help but hide her surprise, as she shockingly asks, “Kourt, are you serious?” Immediately a confessional flashes, showing Kourtney K saying,
“I’m pregnant, I have a lot going on. I don’t need to put myself into one more thing… Kim’s making it seem like she’s doing us a favor.”
The sisterly saga continues
In yet another still from the Kardashian home, Kim and Kourtney can be seen embroiled in a yelling match, as the latter screams in abject annoyance, saying: “I don’t want to be in your video game!”
Kim K then expresses her frustration regarding the whole situation:
“It’s ridiculous for you to not do that for me… I’ve done so much for you. For Scott to call me and say ‘You should buy her a pair of shoes’… I’m not buying her a f**king pair of shoes. I bought her a f**king career… It’s just lame to not do me a favor… Like I bend over backward and do business deals for the benefit of you guys when I have my own deals and I’m not going to be bending over backward if I feel like people aren’t gonna do me favors.”
To this Kourtney snaps back, claiming,
“You never asked as a favor, never once… So if you presented it as a favor and said ‘will you guys please do this for me?'”
Khloe K settled this dispute, taking Kourtney’s side, and leaving Kim with a fuming face.
“Obama has a character and Kourtney Kardashian is being difficult?”
Finally, Kourtney K took their fight to the next level by sending Kim a ‘cease and desist’ order. Kim was not one to take this politely and she quickly dialed up her sister to question her. Kim called out how petty Kourtney was being to her, as she said sarcastically,
“Why are you being so difficult? It’s like Obama has a character and Kourtney Kardashian is being difficult?!”
The conversation ended up with Kris Jenner trying to play the negotiator and Kim K hanging up the phone midway. Some pretty serious family drama right there, but that’s what the reality show cashed on, and the viewers were more than happy to be privy to all the furious fights. Watching the privileged Kim K not getting her way instantly was a fun thing to watch for many too.
