A$AP Rocky In Major Legal Trouble After LA District Attorney Claims He Shot Multiple Rounds With Semiautomatic Weapon At Former Friend
A$AP Rocky, who is most famously known for his rap career and his relationship with Rihanna. The rapper had a rough childhood as his father would go to jail for selling drugs and his brother would pass away at the early age of 12. With his song “Purple Swag” managed to break through and make a name for himself in the music industry where he started to gain more fame and success as time would pass.
By joining the A$AP Mob, a collective of rappers, producers, music video directors, and other creatives from New York City, Rocky acquired the last name “A$AP.” Yams, Bari, and Illz from A$AP Mob founded it. The initial meaning of “A$AP” was “Always Strive And Prosper,” however through time, it has come to mean many different things. Needless to mention that the rapper has risen far above anyone’s expectations, however, in recent news, the rapper has now been charged with assault.

A$AP Rocky, Rihanna’s boyfriend and the father of her child, has been charged with assault in connection with the shooting that happened in Hollywood in November 2021. In February 2020, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky had dinner together in Los Angeles, which started the first round of relationship rumors. PEOPLE confirmed they are actually “dating” nine months later. Rihanna used to be hounded by questions regarding the rapper’s legal troubles, however, the ‘Disturbia‘ singer handled it by focusing on herself and the baby. Clearly, her history of having feuds has made her more experienced in handling these situations. The boy of the couple was born in Los Angeles on May 13.
The shootout in question regarding A$AP Rocky and former friend
According to the D.A.’s office, the American rapper fired numerous shots intended toward an old friend. On Monday, the Los Angeles district attorney said that his office is filing two counts of assault with a semiautomatic weapon against the rapper and producer. This would not be the first time that the rapper has gotten into legal troubles either, as he was also caught up in courts for a video that showed him attacking a person in “self-defense“. Rihanna, who has known to be quite talented at giving back to the media, has mostly stayed silent.
Police have taken action accordingly
When Rihanna and the rapper returned from a family vacation to Barbados in April of this year, Rihanna was still pregnant. The police went after him and waited for him to get off the private jet. As soon as his feet touched the ground, the police took him into custody at the LAX tarmac. The rapper is now being charged with assault and battery.
