Absence of Kate Middleton Has Made Prince Harry Dumping His Duties a Serious Affair in the Royal Family

Prince Harry Faces Backlash for Dumping His Duties
The generational passing down of titles and duties is common in royal families. The Britain royals are no different, who rely on their kids to fill in their shoes when they are unavailable. This expectation by King Charles led to Prince Harry facing backlash as he has exited from the family and does not take up any royal duties. Despite that, he was seen at the Coronation event and attended it to support his father and brother.
There is a burgeoning gap in the appearances of the royal family since King Charles is in the hospital to get surgery for his enlarged prostate. In the meanwhile, Kate Middleton is recuperating after an abdominal surgery and her husband William has decided to take some time off to focus on his family. In light of this, the royal family is lacking familiar faces the masses love. Queen Camila is still working but she must be with King Charles as he recovers.
The Sun recently released an article outlining every way in which Harry is disappointing his father and the royal family for not pulling his weight in the royal duties. In the absence of the King and the next-in-line Prince, Harry was supposed to step up and represent the royal family. The author of the article goes on to say, “As Prince Harry was picking up the ridiculous bauble of “living legend of aviation” on Friday night, his father was planning how he could swiftly get back to work after his prostate operation. And one of the reasons the 75-year-old King needs to do that is because his youngest son has dumped his duties.”
On the other hand, as soon as King Charles took up his duties as the head of the royal family, he ruled that only working royals could represent him in his absence, so Harry could not have helped his father either way. The hatred received by Harry and Meghan for leaving the spotlight and leading a peaceful life with their kids is never-ending.
Are Harry and Meghan Still Royals?
The feud between Harry and his royal family started ever since speculations of him dating former actress Meghan Markle came to light. Known for her role as Rachel Zane in the blockbuster series Suits, Meghan had a successful acting career before marrying Harry and deciding to give up acting. After their marriage, things escalated as rumours of racism and hatred spread against Meghan. The couple decided to exit the royal family in 2020 and relocated to California where Meghan used to live.
They established the Archewell Foundation and now work towards building charitable organizations. Both of them are extremely passionate people who work towards a cause for societal betterment. While Harry and Meghan are not working royals anymore, they retain their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.
