Following the success of Fast X, Diesel is developing a female-led Fast & Furious spinoff. During an interview, the actor talked about a future film with a female lead.
Vin Diesel had the female-led spin-off on his mind since 2017
The public has always appreciated female actors in the action-packed franchise. Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and many other actresses have excelled in outstanding acting and intense situations in the movie. Vin Diesel was recently promoting his newly released movie Fast X, and he mentioned that he is working on the upcoming Fast & Furious Projects which includes a female-led spinoff as well.
Diesel mentioned that he had the idea of introducing the female-led spin-off since 2017, saying,
“I started developing the female spinoff…in 2017 with other spinoffs, and the sooner I deliver the finale, the sooner I can launch all the spinoffs.”
This revelation by Diesel has taken the internet by storm. Fans are already excited to watch the female-led spinoff. The cast of the movie hasn’t been announced yet as the makers are still working on the plot. People believe Rodriguez and Brewster will be recognized for generating a huge smash with this movie.

“We have such a great cast. We lead with love. We try to create an environment where people can do their best work. That’s all actors really want, is to feel as though they’re supported to create unique characters. Characters that last forever, and you see that in this franchise.”

“The last time I told my daughter it was the last one, all I saw was tears. So I gotta be really careful [about] who and what I say.”
