Jamie Foxx was hospitalized in Atlanta, Georgia after experiencing an undisclosed “medical complication” in mid-April. Just after the actor got admitted to the hospital, no exact details of the medical emergency were disclosed to the public. After about 6 days in medical care, it was reported that he is responding to the treatment. His daughter also issued a statement on Instagram. Recently Foxx responded on social media for the first time after reports of his unknown medical complications came out to the public.
The Oscar-winning actor took to his Instagram to express his gratitude for the concern and love shown to him in the past few weeks and wrote, “feeling blessed.”.
Kevin Hart Comments on Jamie Foxx’s Health
Jamie Foxx is still believed to be in hospital, but during an interview for the Impaulsive podcast that aired on Tuesday, Kevin Hart insisted his friend is doing much better. He said,
“I think the dope thing is that he’s getting better in his situation, and everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy, all that stuff is seen and felt. I don’t know the details or the exact details as to what’s going on, but to my knowledge, there’s a lot of progression and a world of better.”
When Hart was asked about the whereabouts of the Day Shift actor, he said, “They’re being tight … about where he is because Jamie’s always been a private person to a certain degree,”.

As soon as the Django Unchained actor posted his gratitude on Instagram the comments started flooding. Not only the fans, but many celebrities commented on the post too. Jeremy Renner commented, ” Sending you strength and love.” Actor Courteney Cox dropped a string of prayer emojis in the comment section. “You are the greatest Jamie, please make a speedy recovery. You are a blessing to this world, we need you in it,” actor Ansel Elgort wrote.

Jamie Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx posted on Instagram saying,
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
Foxx also gave a shout-out to friend Nick Cannon for filling in on the Fox show Beat Shazam, writing on his Instagram Story, “Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon see u all soon.”. The actor was photographed filming Back in Action with Cameron Diaz just one day before he was rushed to the hospital. However, things seem to be going fine on that issue.
