After Ryan Reynolds, Daniel Craig and Charlize Theron Now Join the Hollywood Heist Gang With New Justin Lin Movie
The heist genre of movies seems to be catching on like wildfire. Every major actor in Hollywood wants to display their range of action-packed sequences. From the Ocean’s franchise to several stand-alone films that feature thieves and high-octane action, heist movies excite the audience like nothing else. After Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot worked together in Red Notice for Netflix, we might see our beloved 007 fame Daniel Craig and Charlize Theron together in a heist movie.
Daniel Craig and Charlize Theron’s Next Movie
Justin Lin, who worked on the Fast and the Furious franchise is all set to direct a movie starring Daniel Craig and Charlize Theron in the lead. The title of the heist thriller is said to be Two for the Money. Following a multi-studio bidding war, the movie is snatched by Apple Original Films and it’s unclear if fans will be able to watch the movie in theatres.
Lin went to Theron with the script first who then suggested Craig be her co-star. Another writer who worked with Lin on the Fast franchise, Dan Mazeau, will pen the script. No information regarding the plot has been divulged other than the fact that the story will have a bit of romance. It will show the progression of Theron and Craig’s characters’ relationship while being thieves and undertaking major jobs.
Lin, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Joe Roth of RK Films will produce with Theron under her Denver & Delilah company. RK has also contributed to a number of Fast films, notably Fast X.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lin ideated Two for the Money alongside Mazeau when they were working on the tenth instalment of the main Fast & Furious film series, which Lin left a week into filming.
