All 15 Upcoming Marvel Shows After Eternals!
Marvel’s Eternals is proving to be a loved movie worldwide and is now to be followed with new MCU content which includes 15 confirmed TV shows. Most of these will be released between the end of this year and 2023, but there are some which could probably arrive in 2021. Here’s every TV series dropping after Eternals
1. Hawkeye – November 24, 2021
After the release of Black Widow, Hawkeye was the only original MCU Avenger to not have his own solo project, until now. Hawkeye’s series is set to introduce Kate Bishop, the female Hawkeye from the Marvel comics. Hawkeye will be dealing with gangsters and street-level villains and also face Ronin’s past. Echo and Swordsman are set to join the characters as well.
2. MS. Marvel- Somewhere early 2022
Ms. Marvel is expected to be MCU’s first TV show in 2022, which is set to bring Marvel’s first major Muslim superhero to life. It is set to play by Iman Vellani and Kamala Khan will go on to fight beside Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau in The Marvels. But before that happens, MCU will be exploring the hero’s origin story in Ms.Marvel.
3. She-Hulk – 2022
In the comics, prosecutor Jennifer Walters transformed into She-Hulk after receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner. She-Hulk is set to debut and star in her own very TV show in 2022. The show will include appearances of Abomination and Bruce Banner.
4. Moon Knight – 2022
Moon Knight will be having a 6 episode first season and will release sometime after She-Hulk in 2022. Oscar Isaac will be playing Marc Spector who is often called Marvel’s Batman. In the comics, Spector hid his vigilante lifestyle by creating fake identities that eventually turned into separate personalities. This could make it a dark psychological thriller.
5. Secret Invasion – 2022
Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury is set to lead Secret Invasion which will be based on the comic book crossover by the same name. They will find out that some of the heroes have been replaced by Skrulls and Nick Fury along with Talos will be dealing with this situation.
6. Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special – 2022
This is set to be 40 minutes long and set to introduce “one of the greatest MCU characters of all time” according to James Gunn. Every current member will return excluding Gamora as they are still searching for her.
7. I Am Groot
This is will a series of shorts focused on Groot. It hasn’t been formally announced but fans are expecting Vin Diesel to return as the voice of Groot in the kid-friendly installment.
8. What If..? Season 2
Season 2 is expected to have characters and relate to events from Marvel’s Phase 4 movies. Captain Carter from season 1’s alternate realities will be making a return as well. The date of the premiere hasn’t been set but a 2022 release is expected.
9. Armor Wars
The 1980s comic book “Armor Wars” saw Iron Man, go on a crusade against villains and heroes who had “stolen” his armor designs. Now that RDJ has exited the MCU, War Machine is expected to fill his role in the Disney + show.
10. Ironheart
Ironheart will revolve around Riri Williams, a teenage genius who built her own Iron Man armor in Marvel Comics. By the time the series premieres, fans will already be familiar with Dominque Thorne’s Ironheart, as she’ll appear first in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
11. Loki Season 2
Loki was the first Disney+ series to receive a second season order. Loki 1 ended with opening the doors for Ant-Man 3 and Doctor Strange 2 and the fallout from Sylvie’s decision to kill He Who Remains and Kang’s rise at the TVA will be focal points of the next story. Season 2 should continue from where they ended it.
12. Wakanda Spinoff
The series is set to revisit the world built in Phase 3. The spinoff is expected to dive deeper into T’Challa’s homeland and explore some characters who live there.
13. Okoye Spinoff
The TV series centering on Okoye is said to be one of the handfuls of projects that Marvel is putting into production in 2023 so it could be on the schedule for 2024.
14. Echo Spinoff
Hawkeye hasn’t been released yet and Marvel already has a spinoff in the works for one of its new characters. Echo is a Deaf Native American superhero and the original Ronin in the comic books. MCU’s Echo is set to be portrayed by newcomer actress Alaqua Cox.
15. Werewolf By Night Halloween Special
It has been reported months back that Marvel has a second Disney + season special in development and this one will have a Halloween theme. The lead character is set to be Werewolf by Night and Gael García Bernal is set to play the character. The series could be released in October since its Halloween special.
