Actor-comedian-musician Jack Black is currently in Queensland, Australia, to film the reboot of the 1997 action horror classic Anaconda. Black stars alongside Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd. The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent director Tom Gormican is not only going to direct the movie but he is also co-writing the script with Kevin Etten.
Black was recently spotted at the Gold Coast Beach, Australia, where a paparazzi videographer approached him. But the comedian-actor started to playfully throw punches and kicks at him, showing him some of his Kung Fu Panda-inspired moves. Black wore Tenacious D shorts and a tie-dye T-shirt when the videographer asked him, ‘You know I’m recording.’
The video was posted online (@scubaryan_), which has garnered about 11.3 million views, and fans have taken to their social media to share their views on the video. One user wrote, ‘Always in character,’ while another mentioned, ‘Jack Black living like a cartoon character even off-screen; he’s the gift that keeps giving.’.

Jack Black reveals the superhero movie that makes him emotional

While working, they encounter a deadly snake.
The original movie followed a documentary crew hunting for the world’s largest snake. The reboot is going to center around a group of friends experiencing mid-life crises and decides to remake their favorite childhood movie.
Anaconda reboot is scheduled for a 2025 Christmas Day release. The actor will also be seen in the live-action movie Minecraft based on the very popular video game. It stars Jason Momoa and Emma Myers and is set to release in April 2025.
