Amanda Bynes is a beautiful actress that had an amazing career in the 90s and 2000s. She started off as a child star and made it to big banner films in Hollywood. Alas, around 2010, she indefinitely put her career on hold to deal with her spiraling mental health, substance abuse and legal issues. Sadly, she never made a comeback since then.
A few days back she was found wandering around naked in the streets of LA, having apparently suffered a psychotic episode. Thankfully, she managed to call 911 and the authorities got her admitted to a suitable institution. The latest reports indicate that Bynes is making good progress at the facility and things look good for the star.
Amanda Bynes Needs Extra Psychiatric Care
Amanda Bynes, the American actress, will spend extra time receiving psychiatric care after TMZ found more about her recent incident, which led to her strolling naked around L.A. streets.
According to sources close to the actress, they are still trying to figure out this whole situation, but at this moment, everyone believes she could have been living on the streets for several days. According to the outlet, the What a Girl Wants actress’s car was seized on March 15 in Long Beach, around 40 miles from her house and 25 miles from downtown Los Angeles, where she was last seen on Sunday.

The insider revealed, when they brought the actress to a mental health facility early Sunday morning, she began to improve, but she will likely remain committed for at least another week before she is well enough to be discharged.
Amanda Bynes Gets Help After Roaming Around Naked in L.A
Amanda Bynes was placed under psychiatric hold on Sunday after she was seen walking naked on the streets of Los Angeles. According to an eyewitness who told TMZ, the actress signaled the car and informed the driver that she was having a psychiatric episode. The She’s the Man actress was then taken to a neighboring police station as she herself dialed 911, where a mental health professional determined she needed a 5150 detention.
Amanda Bynes began her career in Hollywood in 1996, and went on to have her own spinoff, The Amanda Show, in 1999. Nevertheless, when reports of her substance abuse surfaced, the actress startled her fans by announcing her hiatus from her acting career in 2010. In August 2013, she was placed under the conservatorship of her mother, Lynn Bynes, following a public breakdown. After nine years, a judge terminated Bynes’ conservatorship last year.
