Amanda Bynes Reportedly Roamed Around on the Streets for Days Before Being Put on Psychiatric Care Following Naked Rampage in LA
The 36-year-old actress, popularly known for her films like She’s the Man, Amanda Bynes, started as a child actor. Growing up in limelight usually leaves an adverse impression on stars once they grow up, and this seems to be the case with her as well. The American actress announced her indefinite retirement from acting in 2010.
And the Love Wrecked star is again in talks after she was spotted roaming around naked in the streets of Los Angeles, after which she has been getting psychiatric treatment, and TMZ has revealed details regarding what led Bynes to act the way she did.
Amanda Bynes Was Roaming on Streets For Several Days
Sources close to Amanda Bynes have shared that they are trying to figure out what happened that led her to have a psychotic episode. They claimed that she could have been on the streets for days after her car was towed on March 15 in Long Beach.
“We’re told Amanda’s car was towed on March 15 in Long Beach, about 40 miles from her home … and 25 miles from downtown L.A., where she popped up Sunday.”
Insiders believe that the Sydney White star probably hitchhiked or took public transport to make her way back home. She was spotted in Hollywood on March 18 and had clothes on. It also is believed that she hitchhiked her way to Beverly Hills and then asked to be dropped back at Hollywood. The next day she was spotted wandering Downtown L.A. after which she flagged a car down and asked for help.
Amanda Bynes Was Expected to Join All That Cast Reunion
Years of substance addiction made Amanda Bynes insecure about herself, and she chose to step away from the limelight. However, she was planning a comeback to television in 2018. During an interview with Paper Magazine, she shared that she wanted to return to acting first.
Earlier this year, it was reported that she would join the All That cast reunion held earlier this month at 90’s con event hosted by Thats4Entertainmemt. It would have been her first public appearance since the end of her conservatorship, and the Living Proof actress was excited to meet her fans. However, later it was revealed that the All That star would not be joining the cast reunion due to some health issues.
