Amid Taylor Swift’s Deadpool and Wolverine Rumors, Boyfriend Travis Kelce is Making His Acting Debut in Ryan Murphy’s Highly Anticipated Horror Production
Looking at the excitement garnered by Deadpool & Wolverine, fans can’t wait to see the two mutants team up for a multiversal adventure. Many actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe are bound to make an appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine since Kevin Feige plans to intersect the worlds of mutants and Marvel superheroes through this movie.
Even superstar Taylor Swift is rumored to make an appearance in the movie as the mutant Dazzler. While the speculations have spread far and wide already, there has been no confirmation on the same by either party. If these are to be believed, it will be a huge benefit for Marvel as they will bring in the Swifties fandom to the MCU.
Travis Kelce Makes Hollywood Debut
We’ll just have to wait and see whether Taylor Swift appears as Dazzler in Deadpool & Wolverine. However, her current beau NFL player Travis Kelce is already collecting another feather in his cap as recent reports suggest he has been cast in an upcoming horror series on FX. Deadline reported that the tight-end football player has been included in Ryan Murphy‘s high-profile horror series Grotesquerie.
Other stars already cast in the series include Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville. Kelce may have minimal acting experience but there is no peak tall enough for the football player who is used to winning and conquering fields. He hosted Saturday Night Live last year which was a great success. His foray into Hollywood is all set, though more details regarding the plot of the show and his role are unknown to date.
While Kelce was an unheard-of name outside the football community earlier, he has been put on the proverbial map after news of him dating Swift broke out. The couple started dating later last year and has been going strong since then. Their public appearances are celebrated by Swifties as they often notice how they are doing based on their body language. Even the rumors of their wedding have been spreading far and wide.
Travis Kelce’s Past Experience in Acting
The football player has many projects off the field too. He hosts a podcast called New Heights with his brother Jason Kelce where they talk about anything and everything related to the NFL and football. Moreover, Kelce was also seen on a reality show called Catching Kelce in 2016. It’ll be fair to say that the athlete is not unfamiliar with the ways of the camera and with a little practice, will be able to shine in the horror series too.
Kelce also served as an executive producer for an indie movie titled My Dead Friend Zoe. This further adds to his credibility in knowing how filmmaking works and being able to put his best foot forward. Ryan Murphy teased the release of the series Grotesquerie on Instagram.
