The ex-pair was involved in a 2016 infamous plane incident in which the actress claimed to have been assaulted by her ex-husband. Recent reports state that the FBI has turned in new documents regarding this infamous altercation.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Infamous 2016 Fight
The former Hollywood couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were engaged in a heated altercation in 2016 on their family’s private jet while traveling from France to LA. The actress claimed that her ex-husband got “verbally abusive” and “physical” with her and their son, Maddox, after his intervention.
Soon after the incident happened, the actress filed for divorce, with the FBI investigating the incident.
After the altercation, the actress filed a suit against the FBI using a fake name, Jane Doe, accusing them of not handing over all details regarding their investigation of the infamous case.
As per the Eternals star’s lawyer, her then-husband allegedly choked her, “grabbed her by the head, shaking her,” and stated, “You’re f—g up this family,” while they argued over one of their children.
While the case was investigated, no charges were filed against Pitt.
FBI Releases New Details About Brangelina’s Infamous Plane Incident

As per recent reports, the FBI, which was previously in charge of the infamous case has handed over new documents related to the case. RadarOnline has obtained court documents from the FBI as it produced 164 pages of additional documents for the 47-year-old actress “completing production from the materials collected and reviewed.”
Jolie has raised issues about the case not being properly investigated. She now wants to know how the investigation was concluded.
As per her lawyer,
“The persistent denial of that information to Jolie [redacted] a victim of the assault herself — has hampered, and continues to hamper, her efforts to obtain for her children necessary ongoing care and medical attention and has further harmed the children in the family law system.”
She even accused the FBI of not contacting her regarding the case closure and directly issuing a public statement regarding the same. The actress claimed that a portion of the documents was altered, however, the FBI told the court that they had already handed 53 pages out of 108 pages in 2017 and another 91 pages out of the 136 pages, as requested by the actress, three years ago.
Other than their custody battle, the ex-couple is also engaged in their Winery lawsuit since 2021.
