In an interview with Travel + Leisure, Wheeler revealed that Chandler Bing and Janice would have headed to the stunning island of Nassau for their post-nuptial getaway. And who could blame them? With its crystal-clear waters, soft white sands, and lush palm trees,
“I’m going to say Nassau. Not Nassau County, but Nassau the island. Any place with a pool and a piña colada.”

But how did Wheeler come up with the famous laugh in the first place? She had to be prepared for Matthew Perry’s hilarious antics on set, as he would often make her break character and laugh uncontrollably. The laugh, one of the most memorable aspects of her character, came about as a way to cover up her laughter.
And while Janice was originally meant to be a one-episode character, she quickly became one of the show’s most beloved and iconic characters, much to Wheeler’s surprise.
