Aquaman star Jason Momoa is finally in talks for a villainous role in the next Fast and Furious film, ie. Fast and Furious 10. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Momoa will join the Fast Franchise for the last stretch of road, that is if the negotiations pan out perfectly well. Actor Justin Lin is still attached to helm the film after his return to the series in Fast 9. For yet another trip in the beloved franchise is Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, and Michelle Rodriguez. In a completely surprising turn of events, Charlize Theron might also be back in the driver’s seat for these last movies as well. A lot has already been made about the whole setting and scope of Fast and Furious 10. However, having Aquaman as a villain would probably up the scales for many Fast fans.
Jason Momoa Might Join Fast and Furious 10 as a villain
Back in the year 2021, a beloved Fast cast member revealed to the fans that they might not return for the final adventure. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has also been a common request among all fans to reappear in the final Fast and Furious movie. However, the actor told CNN that the chances of something like that happening weren’t exactly stellar.
“I told [Diesel] directly that I would not be returning to the franchise,” Johnson told CNN last year. “I was firm yet cordial with my words and said that I would always be supportive of the cast and always root for the franchise to be successful, but that there was no chance I would return,” Johnson said. “Vin’s recent public post was an example of his manipulation. I didn’t like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker’s death. Leave them out of it. We had spoken months ago about this and came to a clear understanding.”
AS a fan, if that makes you sad, don’t stress, Dwayne Johnson isn’t really done with the entire Fast Saga yet. Hobbs & Shaw was really successful at the box office and there are still some plans to explore his character in the spin-off if the opportunity presents itself.
