When the duo were asked what would’ve happened if Nolan had directed The Avengers, Downey replied, “If Christopher Nolan had directed ‘The Avengers,’ we’d still be shooting it.” In reply, Nolan added that had he directed the film, there would’ve been many more Tony Stark scenes.
