Jada Pinkett Smith’s love affair with August Alsina made many people question unfaithful relationships. Although Pinkett Smith was married to Will Smith she developed a soft corner for her son’s friend Alsina.
After she confessed she cheated on Smith many people came up with their own theories and perspective about why Pinkett Smith turned out to be such a disappointment in her and Smith’s relationship. One of the major reasons that was speculated was that Pinkett Smith was forced to marry Smith.

On her Facebook Show The Red Table Talk, which is hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith her daughter Willow Smith and Pinkett Smith’s mother Pinkett Smith confessed to cheating on Will Smith. August Alsina was Jaden Smith’s friend, he accompanied the Smith family to their family vacations as well. Many people thought Alsina was the real culprit because he had an affair with his friend’s mom. While talking about her infidelity, Pinkett Smith explained,
“I just wanted to feel good, it had been so long since I felt good. And it was really a joy to just help heal someone. I think that has a lot to do with my co-dependency. We ride together, we die together—bad marriage for life.”
Alsina and Pinkett Smith first met at Jaden and Willow’s concert. After that meeting, Pinkett Smith and Alsina started hanging out more. He was always involved with Smith’s family.

Jada Pinkett Smith wasn’t happy on her wedding day
On one of the episodes of Red Table Talk, Pinkett Smith spoke about her wedding with her husband Smith. She explained why wasn’t happy on her wedding day. Pinkett Smith and Smith tied the knot on 31 December 1997. One of the biggest reasons why Pinkett Smith got married to the King Richard actor was because she was pregnant. On New Year’s Eve, Pinkett Smith had a heavy heart but she had to get married because she was 3 months pregnant. While talking about her wedding day, Pinkett Smith said,
“I was under so much pressure. You know, being a young actress… I was pregnant and I just didn’t know what to do. I never wanted to be married.”
She further added,
“And I was so upset that I had to have a wedding. I was so pissed I went crying down the freaking aisle. I cried the whole way down the aisle.”
Many people assume that the reason Pinkett Smith cheated on Smith was that she was probably in a forced marriage. Although even after Pinkett Smith confessed she cheated on Smith, Men In Black didn’t part ways with the 51-year-old. Smith is even now very protective about Pinkett Smith. His infamous Oscar Slap scandal is proof of how sensitive he is about the mother of his kids.
