Becky Lynch, Whose Cameo in MCU’s ‘The Eternals’ Was Canceled, Gets Injured and Bloodied During Her WWE Match
Becky Lynch is one of WWE’s most recognizable and highest-paid wrestlers. Her real name is Rebecca Quin, and she is an Irish professional wrestler. Lynch won her second SmackDown Women’s Championship in 2018, giving the women’s division a boost. She then led an invasion of Raw that left Ronda Rousey embarrassed and demoralized, despite suffering a concussion in the process. The Man once again made her mark by triumphing in the 2019 Royal Rumble Match to earn a chance to defend the World Championship at WrestleMania 35.
Lynch recently had a face-off with Trish Stratus at WWE Night of Champions. The latter betrayed the former after the two lost the Women’s Tag Team Championships to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in April. The fight between the 36-year-old and WWE Hall of Famer in the ring resulted in a bloodied nose and an embarrassing defeat for The Man.

Trish Stratus beats Becky Lynch with Zoey Stark’s help
The much-awaited battle between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus finally took place at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. Stratus put in a strong performance, matching rival Lynch step for step. The two women put on a stunning performance as they retaliated against one another. The WWE Hall of Famer put her knee on the ropes following a manhandle slam as Lynch successfully resisted many Stratusfaction attempts.
The battle between the two continued as they went back and forth, but the veteran had an ace up her sleeve in the form of Zoey Stark. During the match, Strak emerged from under the ring to help Trish Stratus defeat Lynch as the referee was distracted.
The former NXT star hit The Man with her signature C360 while Stratus took advantage, and hit with Stratusfaction and pinned the 36-year-old multi-time women’s champion. The conclusion of the match resulted in The Man getting some serious injuries. Her nose was smashed open.
Becky Lynch had her MCU cameo axed
The WWE star had a cameo in the post-credit scene of MCU’s Eternals. Directed by Chloé Zhao, it is a Phase 4 MCU film. Marvel is known for its post-credit scene and how it led the way to the future of the franchise.
An insider knew Lynch had a role in the film, and she was involved with Marvel in 2021. Her scene was supposed to set up something for a future installment.
However, the scene was cut off and was revealed later that it had nothing to do with the star’s performance. The scene was just too depressing.
