Living with a busy schedule after his newly released movie Air, Ben Affleck was spotted with his wife Jennifer Lopez during the premiere. Further appearing for an interview in Tuesday’s podcast with the SmartLess, Ben Affleck discussed his movie. Being in promotional mode, Affleck discussed the courtship of Michael Jordan by Nike as the plot of his movie. Further, diverting him from Air, the actor was asked about his married life and the two songs that Lopez dedicated to him.
Taking the opportunity to express his feelings and admiration towards his wife, Ben Affleck dissed the rumors of being in an unhappy marriage. Recalling an incident Affleck began, “Here’s this incredible actress and this incredible performer. And then we’re sitting in the car, you know, and I’m humming along, like I will, you know, to the radio.” Further explaining his embarrassment as a singer in front of his wife, the actor went on. “And then a professional singer goes ahead and sings along and you kind of feel like, ‘Well that’s embarrassing.’” Affleck expressed.

During the event, Affleck expressed his admiration and heaped praises for Lopez. “I love you. You mean the world to me. You’re fabulous, you’re amazing, you’re wonderful, good, kind, magnificent and I love you.” the Argo actor expressed. Further during the podcast, Affleck was asked about his honest feelings about being Lopez’s muse, for two of her famous songs. Acknowledging the songs Dear Ben and This Is Me… Then, Affleck spoke about his wife’s talents.
Reflecting on the two stages of their relationship that might have inspired Lopez, Affleck stated, “I do love her music, it’s brilliant and I know all of it.” The Oscar-winning actor further acknowledged, “The songs that have been written about me have been written by the greatest performer in the history of the world, Jennifer Lopez.” However, the actor dismissed the fact that the songs whatsoever are not dedicated to him as a person. “I don’t know if they are exactly about me, as maybe inspired by me because there are some negative things in there. She’s amazing.” Affleck mentioned.
