Bennifer rekindled their love after 20 years as Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck found their way back to each other. The pair got married in 2022, two times. One in an impromptu ceremony in Vegas, and another in a very planned way in Georgia. Both of which were beautiful. However, Jimmy Kimmel, comedian and late-night talk show host who is also a very close friend of Ben Affleck, was not invited to none of the ceremonies.
Jennifer Lopez recently came on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote her new movie Shotgun wedding. In the interview, the host confronts JLo about the guest list for the invitation and why his name wasn’t there jokingly.
Jimmy Kimmel gifted the couple an adorable present in spite of not being invited
Jennifer Lopez went to Kimmel’s show to plug her new movie Shotgun Wedding. But everyone else along with Jimmy Kimmel were much more eager to know about the Bennifer wedding. Firstly, Jimmy Kimmel conveyed that it was incorrectly reported that he and his wife were present at the Bennifer Georgia wedding, but they were unfortunately not. When he confronted Jennifer Lopez about the matter jokingly, Jennifer Lopez had no clue why and blamed the entire thing on Ben Affleck. All in good fun.
Although, Jimmy Kimmel was a bit upset about not getting invited to the wedding, his adorable gift to the couple might make them regret their decision of not inviting him. Keeping in mind Ben Affleck’s Dunkin’ Donuts obsession, Kimmel got them a pair of sterling silver bride and groom Dunkin’ Donuts cups.
“Ben is going to love it, tell him I said Hi”
Then he taunted his old pal Ben Affleck by saying the above-mentioned line jokingly.
What else did Jennifer Lopez share about the wedding on the show?
This wedding was twenty years in the making! She said,
“And a month before… and I don’t know if you guys know this, but 20 years ago we were supposed to get married and it all kind of fell apart back then and this time we, I absolutely had a little PTSD.”
Planning the wedding had been a pretty hectic job for them. Thus to cope with the stress, Ben Affleck voiced to Jennifer Lopez his frustration and said,
“‘f–k it, let’ just go to Vegas and get married tonight.’”
Although the actress did not agree at the beginning, she later confessed,
“It was amazing, it was the best night of our lives,”
They waited in line to get their marriage license with other couples. Everything was adorable and perfect. Jennifer Lopez also talked about her upcoming album This Is Me… Now. This will be a sequel to This Is Me… Then and will also include the successor of Dear Ben, titled Dear Ben part 2, showcasing their turbulent fairytale love story.
