Beyoncé and Jay Z might not be on good terms with Kanye West now, but they have been extremely close for years. Kanye West and Jay Z were great friends until West started unnecessarily criticizing him and his wife. Despite them being on good terms, their wives never really got along. Kim Kardashian reportedly always tried her best to enter the Grammy-winning singer’s social circle.
However, all her efforts failed, and with Kanye West’s marriage to the SKIMS founder, the Run the World singer also started having differences with him. However, things didn’t get worse all of a sudden because she never really liked Kim Kardashian.

Things got heated between the star couple and Kanye West in 2016 after the rapper allegedly ranted out Jay Z during his concert 2016. Jay Z reportedly got tired of his behavior, and only “tolerated” him because of their upcoming album. And soon everyone was talking about how their wives did not get along as well.
According to Page Six, “Beyoncé has never genuinely liked Kim.” The sources claimed that the singer never really liked The Kardashians star and only “tolerated” her because of her husband’s mutual friendship with Kanye West.
“She is always a little icy to Kim. The last time they hung out, the minute Beyoncé could leave the conversation, she did. They always have lots of awkward pauses when they speak.”
Another In Touch source claimed that the Grammy-winning singer could not stand Kim Kardashian because of the way she got famous. The source further added that while Beyoncé has worked for everything she has since she was five years old, The Kardashian star got her fame and success from her “s*x tape.” The drama between them only intensified when the singer decided not to attend Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding.
Beyoncé Skipped Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s Wedding
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West got married in 2014, and according to several reports, Jay Z was expected to be West’s Best Man for his wedding. The star couple was invited to the wedding, but they decided to skip it. Sources claimed, “[Beyoncé’s] behavior during the wedding proved she isn’t Kim’s biggest fan.”
Sources also revealed that Jay Z and Beyoncé liked “old Kanye” and were not very huge fans of Kanye West they saw on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Things have gone from bad to worse between Jay Z and the Runaway hitmaker, followed by his controversial statements regarding the celebrity couple and it would be hard to consider them as best friends anymore.
