One specific text that she reportedly received but chose to ignore had been from her dad Billy Ray Cyrus. The father-daughter duo have been on bitter terms since Billy Ray separated from Tish Cyrus, making the entire family fall apart.
An insider revealed to US Weekly that Billy Ray reached out to his daughter many times to speak to her and give her his best wishes, but the Hannah Montana star has not responded to him. Seems like their relationship is nowhere near reconciliation. Moreover, the siblings have also chosen sides as some support their mother while some side with the Achy Breaky Heart singer. After being married for over 20 years, the couple divorced amid a resentful phase and don’t even speak to each other nowadays.
