Daredevil Born Again fans recently got a sneak peek into Bullseye’s costume and it is already giving them a deja vu. As production goes on at a full-fledged speed, eager Marvel fans finally get a glimpse of the Man Without Fear and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye from leaked set pictures. Although Bullseye was a secondary villain in Netflix’s Daredevil season 3, it seems like Marvel has big plans for him. His suit, along with pictures of him tussling with Daredevil on the streets of Hell’s Kitchen, shows there is no love lost between the two yet.

Although the pictures are quite blurry, Bullseye’s costume looks much like an Arrowverse villain’s suit—a crossover that might have escaped many eyes.

When ComicBook broke the news that Bullseye, aka. Wilson Bethel’s Benjamin Poindexter would be appearing in Daredevil Born Again, many Marvel fans were ecstatic, to say the least. He quickly became a fan favorite when he appeared in Netflix’s Daredevil season 3 in 2018. He played a secondary antagonist in the season, where he is an FBI agent brainwashed by Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, and he impersonates Daredevil to frame him.

Since Daredevil and Defenders are now officially canon with the MCU, fans are expecting a more formidable villain in Bullseye. Pictures from Just Jared and the user @DDevilUpdates on X show Bethel in a dark blue tactical body suit with a long-barreled pistol, walking through Hell’s Kitchen. When the picture was uploaded, fans started noticing similarities between the Bullseye costume from Daredevil Born Again and the costume of Vigilante from Arrowverse.

Voiced by Mick Wingert, portrayed by Clayton Chitty in Season 5 and by Johann Urb in Season 6, Vigilante was a secondary secret antagonist with brutal tactical skills. X user @FilmItLee pointed out under @DDevilUpdates’s tweet how both of their costumes look eerily similar.

The same blue tactical gear suit, the same crossbands in the front—they have even kept the long-barreled pistol. The only thing missing was Vigilante’s classic orange mask for which he had been dubbed Mr. Ski Goggles by Felicity Smoak. It is an interesting crossover that might have escaped many eyes.

What Will Happen With Bullseye in Daredevil Born Again?

The last time we saw Bullseye, he turned on Fisk when Daredevil revealed to him that Fisk killed a person close to Bullseye. By the end of the season, in an attempt to duke it out with Fisk, he damages his spine, which renders him paralyzed. The final scene shows him undergoing surgery, where he goes through a Cogmium steel reinforcement in his spine.

The new set photos go on to hint that Daredevil and Bullseye still might hold a love-hate relationship—as in, they love to hate each other. Echo (2024) showed Fisk on his quest to be New York City mayor, so it does not seem likely that Bullseye would let him have a smooth sail after all the physical damage and humiliation. It would be interesting to see if he takes on a primary role this time.

Daredevil Born Again is currently filming and is expected to release on Disney+.
