Veteran actor Al Pacino took to the stage during the 96th Academy Awards to announce the nominees for the Best Picture. Instead of announcing the list of deserving nominees, Pacino straightaway opened the envelope and mentioned Oppenheimer.

Fans believe that the 83-year-old actor went on to spoil one of the most important moments during the prestigious award night.
Oppenheimer left behind critically acclaimed movies including Poor Things, Killers of the Flower Moon, Past Lives, The Holdovers, Maestro, Barbie, and The Zone of Interest. With the highest number of Academy Award nominations, Oppenheimer took home seven Oscars.

Cillian Murphy Pays Tribute To The Peacemakers Around The World In His Acceptance Speech
Cillian Murphy nabbed his first-ever Oscar for his terrific performance as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi epic. While accepting the Oscar, the 47-year-old Irish actor expressed his gratitude for the Nolan couple. He said-
“It’s been the wildest, most exhilarating, most creatively satisfying journey you’ve taken me on over the last 20 years. I owe you more than I can say. Thank you so much [to] every single crew member, every single cast member, on Oppenheimer; you guys carried me through. All my fellow nominees, I remain in awe of you guys. Truly.”

Murphy concluded his acceptance speech by paying tribute to the pacemakers around the world. He said-
“I love you so much, and I’m a very proud Irish man standing here tonight. We made a film about the man who created the atomic bomb. And for better or for worse, we’re all living in Oppenheimer’s world, so I would really like to dedicate this to the peacemakers everywhere.”
Christopher Nolan and Cillian Murphy have collaborated on six movies over a span of two decades.
