Cowboy Bebop: John Cho and Three More Actors Cast in Netflix Series
The live adaptation of Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop has come in with its first major casting reveal which is Harold and Kumar star John Cho who will play the lead in the series, a bounty hunter named Spike, alongside Luke Cage star Mustafa Shakir who plays Jet Black who is a partner to Spike and Bebop Ship’s captain, Jurassic World star Danielle Pineda plays Faye Valentine, who’s a bounty hunter with amnesia who builds a partnership with Jet Black and Spike.
Others included in casting is actor Alex Hassell who plays Vicious, an ex partner to Spike who’s also his arch enemy, as the best hitman of the Syndicate.

A lot of Cowboy Bebop fans noticed one huge casting exclusion: Ed! But, don’t worry, Netflix has addressed that in the press release for Cowboy Beep:
“The following cast are confirmed. Meanwhile, Radical Ed is hacking in, but not cast just yet. Plus more cast to be announced.”
Cowboy Bebop will be streaming on Netflix in late 2019.
