Cringiest, Most Vexing Oscar Moments That Made Us All Throw Up Yesterday’s Breakfast
The Oscars 2022 was full of everything. Possibly it became one of the most talked-about Oscars in recent years because people had actually stopped caring about these awards a few years back. That was also because fans hated seeing their favorite stars always being robbed, but that’s a different thing altogether.
They always try to make the Oscars a prestigious thing, but that’s not how it is always. While we sit comfortably at home watching the awards on the big screen, we still have to face some honestly uncomfortably cringe moments. Here were some at the Oscars 2022!
1. Vanessa Hudgens :

We honestly don’t understand what was her weird shoutout to Lin-Man’s wife who has tested positive for Covid.
2. Jessica Chastain may have won Best Actress but wasn’t impressed
Someone wasn’t impressed with Amy Schumer being back.
3. They Tried to Cut off Ryusuke’s Speech!
Ryusuke Hamaguchi (director of Drive My Car) was literally cued off by music, but he literally said, “Just one more minute!”
4. Amy Schumer getting out of hand as usual!
More awkward moments at the Oscars: Amy Schumer, with one of the most unfunny jokes of all time, moved Kirsten Dunst out of her seat, calling her a "seat filler," prompting husband Jesse Plemons to say "you know that was my wife?" pic.twitter.com/GrTKLH8dfa

She came up with a really pathetic joke calling Kirsten Dunst a “seat filler”. Jesse Plemons had to intervene. Will Smith wasn’t the only one to go through this. Clearly!
5. Billie Eilish Winning Best Original Song Was A Total Snub for Celebs too!
Diane Warren was certainly not impressed with the results.
6. Kristen Stewart
When they announced the best actress was won by Jessica Chastain, Kristen Stewart apparently shook her head and they capture that as pointed out by fans.
7. Mila Kunis’ Awkwardly Cringe Moment
Mila Kunis was doing her wonderful job and was announcing Reba’s performance but there was some mic or possibly audio issue. We mean this is “Oscars”, we expect more.
8. Umm the coverage issues!
Jessica Chastain is being interviewed with a "LIVE" chyron emblazoned on the bottom of the screen. We know she's inside cheering on the makeup & hairstyling win for THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE. The Academy should never do this again.

Fans were complaining that the “live” coverage didn’t seem live at all.
9. Anthony Hopkins

This looked cute to some but honestly felt a bit cringe to others. Surely some Hannibal Lector feels to it. But WHYYYY?
