Daredevil is one of MCU’s most beloved series on Netflix. Starring Charlie Cox in the role of Matt Murdock and his alter-ego- the titular superhero, this was the first Marvel Netflix series ever made. The masked vigilante gained more and more attention with each new season but much to everyone’s surprise, it was canceled after just 3 iterations.

Almost five years later, in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Matt Murdock’s (Charlie Cox) alter-ego donned the suit ripped right out of the comics. The reason for doing so was probably that Bullseye had stolen his suit to slander his name in the third season of the Daredevil show.

That said, it’s safe to say that fans have had a rather mixed take on the matter. However, considering how popular the previous three seasons have been, it would be no surprise that consensus changes after its release.

How many episodes will Daredevil: Born Again have?

In 2022, it was revealed that an 18-episode reboot of the show would be released. The cast from the original series will be reprising their roles in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again. Recently, Vincent D’Onofrio has revealed that fans might not get the eighteen episodes guaranteed to them earlier. D’Onofrio spoke about how the number of episodes for a show keeps fluctuating and had this to say during an interview with Comic Book:

“The amount of episodes keeps fluctuating, so I don’t really know the number that we’re at right now. But it seems like there are a few shows that could work with more episodes, then some that just need eight or 10 or six. Echo is like five.”

Interestingly, the cast of the show had previously stated that the series could have lasted at least two more seasons and it looks like they were right with their assessment. Making 18 episodes for the third season of this show would probably be a feat in itself. Even so, there would still be enough material for the making of new seasons in the future. However, as of now, only time can tell the future of the show and it remains to be seen how it will be received by the fans upon its release.
