David Hasselhoff Reportedly Wanted to Kill Off Pamela Anderson’s Beloved Baywatch Character ‘C. J.’ Early in a Tragic Boating Accident
The late 1990s show Baywatch gave rise to a few top celebrities in the Hollywood industry including Playboy magazine model, Pamela Anderson. Already known for her modeling work, she received a significant weightage for getting a part in the show. However, the star playing the beloved character of Casey Jean “C.J.” Parker in the series once irritated the show’s executive producer.

The actress is known as one of the most popular and longest-serving cast members of the hit series however her tactics after getting married to heavy metal band Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee became unbearable. That especially annoyed the show’s executive producer, David Hasselhoff who even decided to put her character out of the show.
David Hasselhoff Reportedly Was Ready to Get Rid of Pamela Anderson’s Character in Baywatch
Pamela Anderson is one of the most renowned celebrities in the industry due to the immense success she received in the 1990s. Even her role as charismatic senior lifeguard Casey Jean “C.J.” Parker in the series, Baywatch further skyrocketed her professional career. However, RadarOnline reported that her costar and show’s executive producer, David Hasselhoff was not happy with the behavior she showed on-set.
Insiders revealed that her behavior greatly annoyed them which is why they were looking to replace her.
“He and Baywatch brass are feverishly casting for Pam’s replacement, but she’s not aware the casting call is for that purpose.”
They further added that the scriptwriters of the show were “furiously working on possibilities for C.J.’s final episode,” adding that one of the scenarios included Anderson’s character tragically passing away in a boating accident.
Pamela Anderson’s Love Life With Former Husband, Tommy Lee Affected Her Image on The Set of Baywatch
As per the outlet, the producer was ticked off by the actress due to her husband, Tommy Lee’s interference, and her constant boasting about her love life with him. The Barb Wire star and the drummer were married from 1995 to 1998 sharing two sons, Brandon and Dylan.
Insiders claimed that the producer grumbled when the model “started spouting off to the press about the location and frequency of her sexual interludes with Tommy.”
The former pair’s “tattooed ring fingers” and Lee’s alleged demands of rewriting his former wife’s scripts majorly infuriated him. Though replacing the most beloved character from the show would have highly impacted them which is why they chose to continue working with her. She was in the show for five seasons from 1992 until 1997.
