Cassandra Nova is one of the most powerful villains in the X-Men series, starting with her surviving Xavier’s attempt to kill her. She continues to be a threat to X-Men as Xavier’s darkest, strongest, and most evil counterpart. She shares powers including telepathy, telekinesis, mind control, telepathic cloaks, and mental detection.

One of the reasons why Nova is considered one of the most powerful villains in the X-Men comics is because the character has nothing to lose. The character only exists to destroy. She is most infamous for commanding an army of Sentinels to massacre 16 million mutants in the mutant homeland of Genosha.
