‘Bennifer’ is back in town. It is just like the early 2000s but in the post-MySpace era. It is truly like a fairy tale, the old lovers reunited again this year and things fell perfectly into its place.
For the unversed, singer Jennifer Lopez and actor Ben Affleck are old lovers. Although their relationship didn’t last long in the Y2K, this time, they are here to stay. The two were both singles at the same time earlier this year and it was too perfect of an opportunity not to get back together after all these years. It was meant to be. The duo got married in July and it has been a joy ride ever since.

Bennifer: A love story 20 years in the making
It finally happened! Bennifer 2.0 is finally official! Although it was believed that the marriage ceremony was boring, some never before seen pictures in the reel say otherwise. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married twice this year. Once in a Las Vegas ceremony and again at Affleck’s estate in Georgia. Vegas was all pink in love as the couple posed in front of a pink Cadillac convertible at the chapel. In Georgia however, she opted for a more traditional bride look. Jennifer Lopez looked beautiful in a backless gown with flower appliqués.
The famous green engagement ring was also showcased in the recap reel.

“I always say the color green is my lucky color,” she said On The JLo. “Maybe you can remember a certain green dress. I’ve realized there are many moments in my life when amazing things happened when I was wearing green.”
The ring resembled their first engagement ring Affleck presented her with almost twenty years ago.
Jennifer Lopez is completely in love
Jennifer Lopez advises fans not to give up on love while promoting her upcoming album.
“We captured me at this moment in time when I was reunited with the love of my life and we decided we were going to be together forever.”
Talking about her upcoming album, Lopez said,
“‘Now I think what the message of [This Is Me…Now] is — if you have, like me at times, lost hope, almost given up, don’t. True love does exist and some things do last forever and that’s real. I want to put that message out into the world and that does take a lot of vulnerability.”
This is what real love feels like. Jennifer Lopez also recalled the difficult time she was in after they broke their engagement back in 2002.
“Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life, and I honestly felt like I was going to die.”
The engagement ring is engraved with ‘Not. Going. Anywhere.’ and feels like Ben Affleck is keeping his word this time.
