“Do you know how many dads I know older than you”: Kelly Ripa Lashes Out After Mark Consuelos Breaks Her Heart, Refuses To Have More Kids With Her
TV Show host, Kelly Ripa was surprised by her husband, Mark Consuelos’ idea on marriage and kids at present. Viewers will get to watch the couple discuss these topics in her upcoming podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa. Their relationship has stood the test of time and the two raised three healthy kids who are all adults now. There has not been much drama in their marriage comparatively. While opening up in the preview of the podcast, Consuelos expressed his desire to be a grandfather rather than a father to a new kid. He seems to be over with his dad-hood after raising his three kids. Consuelos seemed to have cleared the curiosity in his wife regarding the possibility of a fourth child.
Mark Consuelos Shares his Thoughts on Having Another kid
Unquestionably parenting is not an easy task. And in the case of working parents, it could become much tougher. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are one such couple who have raised three kids (all in their 20s now) since they got married. In a preview of Ripa’s upcoming podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, she discusses the topic of marriage and children with her husband. She asked her husband about the idea of remarrying if she was not with him anymore. Consuelos straight-up rejected the idea of marrying another.
With this, he explained the reason as him not wanting to have more kids. It seems that raising three kids was enough fatherhood experience for him. The father of three also mentioned that at this age he would be an older dad, not a young one. Following this, Ripa responded,
“Do you know how many dads I know older than you that were just starting to have kids?”
Talking along that line of thought, Consuelos also added more. He said rather than having more kids of his own, he was looking forward to being a grandfather. Seemingly, the couple would not be having another kid as far as can be seen.
A look at The Couple’s Little Family
Kelly Ripa and Mark Counsuelos got married back in ’96. Their marriage has lasted more than two decades. It gives a good idea about how strong their relationship with each other is. The couple has even shared the secret to keeping the romance alive in the past. As for their children, Ripa and Consuelos have three (two sons and 1 daughter) in total. All of them are adults now. The oldest is their son Michael (25), Lola (21), and the youngest Joaquin (20).
