Drake’s recent behavior during his concert made sure that he took care of his fans. He took a brief moment while performing during his concert to make a life-changing pledge to a random concertgoer. The singer-songwriter went on to pause the show only to interact with the crowd and promised to pay off $160,000 for a fan’s late mother.

A clip from Drake’s performance at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City has gone viral on social media. Fans cannot stop praising the Grammy Award winner on social media. According to the viral footage on X, Drake read the note onstage and pledged to pay off $160,000 for a fan’s late mother’s house. The 37-year-old musician said-

“This is it? You said, ‘[Pay] off my mom’s house, rest in peace.’ Your mom passed away? Alright. And you owe… Oh, this is the outstanding balance right here.

Before flipping the note to read the woman’s name, he further continued to say

“This is a lot of money right here. But you know what, Imma pay off your momma’s house for you. Imma pay out of my pocket. That’s gonna come from me. Rest in peace to your momma. Hold on, wait. Rest in peace to Jennifer Schumer. Rest in peace. I love you.”

According to WIVB, this is not the first time Drake’s generosity and humble behavior have come to light. Just a few days before pledging $160k to a fan during his concert in Kansas City, he had promised to give a fan $25,000 in Buffalo, after she brought a sign with respect to her struggles with Cancer.

2023 saw the weird trend of throwing stuff on music artists during their live performances. As reported by People in August 2023, Drake responded on the insensitive behavior of a concertgoer during his It’s All a Blur Tour with 21 Savage. An audience member tossed a copy of Titles Ruin Everything at the rapper in the middle of his performance. Fortunately, he caught the book and responded to the person who threw it. He said-
