Although the dispute between them has been going on for a while, new rumors regarding their relationship have appeared due to the release of Drake’s most recent song.

Drake’s Latest Track Fuels Feud With Kanye West

The One Dance performer has reignited his long-standing feud with US rapper Kanye West with the release of his new track Rescue Me. The duo has had an unstable relationship for over a decade, despite collaborating on several hits. In 2021, the two appeared to have put their differences aside after joining forces on stage at a Free Larry Hoover concert.

However, Drake’s latest song includes a specific line that is expected to irritate the 45-year-old rapper. The track uses audio from KUWTK, where Kardashian is discussing her divorce from West, saying,

“I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that.”

The 36-year-old then goes on to lyrically describe how he would rescue a woman in distress and treat her to a lavish lifestyle.

West has yet to respond to the latest diss, but the ongoing feud between the two rappers is characterized by their trolling of each other on social media.

The feud began after an interview Drake gave in 2011, where he expressed his ambition to surpass West’s accomplishments. Despite labeling West as a friend, he said,

“My goal is to surpass everything he’s accomplished. I don’t want to be as good as Kanye, I want to be better.”

With this latest track, it seems the rivalry between the two is far from over. However, the ongoing conflict between the two rappers may have been evaluated as the romantic relationship between Kanye’s former spouse and Drake.

Drake’s Latest Song Triggers Rumors Of An Affair With Kim Kardashian

The song, titled Rescue me, debuted over the weekend on SiriusXM’s Sound 42 and includes recordings of Kardashian talking about her divorce from West.

His decision to use KimK’s dialogue in his new song appears to be a deliberate move, as the Laugh Now Cry Later singer and the SKIMS founder were previously rumored to have had a romantic encounter.

The tensions between Drake and the Flashing Lights star were further fueled during the holiday season in 2018 when the Yeezy founder criticized Drake for following his former wife on Instagram and demanded an apology.

He took to Twitter to express his anger, accusing him of getting too personal with his family. He tweeted,

“I’ve never mentioned or touched on anything related to the family when it came to Drake. He followed my wife on Instagram, he mentioned Pusha’s fiance [sic] in a song.”

Kanye also questioned who suggested that Drake should follow her on the social media platform.

West and Kim Kardashian’s relationship has been one of the most talked-about topics in the entertainment industry. The couple started dating in 2012 and got married in a lavish ceremony in 2014. They have four children together, but their union eventually came to an end after more than six years of marriage.
