Two artists in the American music scene that have their songs in the Billboard chart almost consistently competing for the first spot are Taylor Swift and Drake. They might not be close buddies, however, being in the same industry for a long time they have come across each other on various occasions which has naturally made them well acquainted.

She even attended her fellow artist’s 30th birthday bash. Not only that but Swift has even referred to Drake’s name and song title in one of her songs. More recently, the Hotline Bling hitmaker showed his support for Swift on the release of her new Speak Now album by jokingly posting a picture of the Red singer’s lookalike. However following this, most Twitteraties have reacted by poking fun at Drake with various jokes.

To end all fandom wars, Drake recently showed his support for long-time friend and fellow artist Taylor Swift. The latter has been busy with her Eras tour lately with several TikTok and Reels being shared from the concerts by fans since.

And following the announcement of the release date of Swift’s version of her 2010 album Speak Now, the Hotline Bling hitmaker recently posted a picture of himself posing with a Taylor Swift look-alike as a way to show his backing.

He jokingly,

“Congrats on the drop. Dialed In.”

Although this was visibly Drake’s light-hearted way to support a fellow artist many fans reacted with various reactions with some making fun of him. One tweeted,

At the same time, many also poked fun with various jokes about Swift’s look-Alike with one user tweeting,

Despite everything, the two artists seem to be on good terms with each other as far as it is concerned.

Last month, Drake announced his poetry book consisting of various lyrics, poems called Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream Of Consciousness co-written with Kenza Samir. While announcing, he captioned the post with,

“I don’t know if I have ever wanted people to buy or support something more in my life…our first book is available tmrw on @drakerelated and other select retailers,”

And not long afterward, the singer also confirmed his upcoming album was on the way, although no date has yet been selected for the release. According to Drake, he wanted an album to go with his poetry book and this has been mainly the reason for creating a new list of songs.
