Dune Director Reveals Timothée Chalamet Sequel Set To Bring Back an Important Material From Source To Film For Josh Brolin’s Arc

During an interview with Empire Magazine, Denis Villeneuve candidly revealed their intent to reintegrate the previously omitted material concerning Josh Brolin’s character, ensuring that justice will be served in the upcoming second part!
Dune director on bringing back deleted material
Dune is one of the best adaptations of Frank Herbert’s iconic sci-fi novel of the same name. It was a blockbuster grossing over $400 million worldwide. However, people missed some scenes from Josh Brolin’s favorite instrument the baliset. It was an important part of Gurnery’s character, but Denis Villeneuve decided to delete a musical part in the first movie.

“The Gurney song survived ‘Part Two’! It became a weird priority for me. But Josh Brolin is a poet and we played it together. It was awesome.”
