Emilia Clarke admits keeping spoilers for Secret Invasion was easier than for Game of Thrones

Clarke appeared in MCU’s Secret Invasion, which unfortunately failed to impress the audience. Back in 2023, Emilia Clarke appeared in the EW’s Around the Table series where she admitted that keeping spoilers for Marvel’s mini-series was much easier, compared to keeping them for HBO’s GOT. She said,

“When we were doing Game of Thrones, when it started to get to the later seasons, some massive security changes happened. I was chatting with the show runners and they were like, ‘Marvel. We’re just learning from Marvel. Whatever Marvel’s doing, we just want to do that.’ So that became, you don’t print anything-and then there was like me and Peter Dinklage being like, ‘I need it on paper! I can’t learn my lines without it being on paper!’”

The actress expressed her disappointment as she recalled the spoilers of GOT being leaked at the time. She said,

“It just sucks. Not that I did the spoiling.”

Samuel L. Jackson shared that security had shot a drone down while they were filming Secret Invasion. He noted that the Marvel security tracked the person down and caught him as well.
