Emily Blunt, one of the most celebrated actresses in Hollywood who has recently starred in Christopher Nolan‘s summer blockbuster Oppenheimer, once shared her weird idea of crashing into the royals on the wedding day of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with actor James McAvoy through their humorous performance. According to ET, the Scottish actor suggested: “Pitch it to Meghan Markle!”
To which Blunt responded: “That would be pretty awesome, just to see”. Agreeing with the Edge of Tomorrow star the Split star said: “Especially if the wedding was on a Saturday, that would be awesome, just kickin’ off at the reception.”
In this playful discussion, Blunt and McAvoy speculated on which song the royals might dance and Meghan Markle should consider their act. However, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would have been left in astonishment after witnessing Blunt’s idea of disrupting their special day. This could have added an element of surprise and bewilderment between the royals if they had seen the two co-stars’ special performance and could have garnered immense media attention.
Emily Blunt Issues Apology Over Her 2012 Resurfaced Video
The Devil Wears Prada star has recently issued an apology over her resurfaced video clip from the year 2012 in which Emily Blunt made some insensitive comments about a worker. The Jungle Cruise actress appeared on U.K.’s Jonathan Ross Show in which she was captured passing comments on a restaurant server through impolite language.
According to People, this video clip has recently found its way to the public’s attention after which Blunt has expressed her regrets and presented an apology for being extremely insensitive during the show:
“I just need to address this head-on as my jaw was on the floor watching this clip from 12 years ago, I’m appalled that I would say something so insensitive, hurtful, and unrelated to whatever story I was trying to tell on a talk show.”
The Pain Hustlers star expressed that she was appalled by her own unkind behavior during the show that was unrelated to the story she was telling. Blunt added:
“I’ve always considered myself someone who wouldn’t dream of upsetting anyone so whatever possessed me to say anything like this in that moment is unrecognizable to me or anything I stand for, and yet it happened, and I said it and I’m so sorry for any hurt caused. I was absolutely old enough to know better.”
She emphasizes being an individual who wouldn’t want to upset anybody be it her fans or any other person. Blunt considers herself a kind of personality who respects others and after making such unexpected comments she declared feeling remorse.
