Emily Blunt is taking a break from acting to concentrate on her family after starring in the eagerly awaited movie Oppenheimer. The 40-year-old actress has two daughters, Hazel and Violet, with her husband John Krasinski.
“This year, I’m not working,” Blunt told the Table for Two podcast.
The actress said she wanted to be there for her girls at this time in their lives. She emphasized the need for her presence for a prolonged period of time and the need of being there for them through important moments like getting them up, taking them to school, picking them up from school, and putting them to bed.
She noted that since her older daughter is nine years old, they are in their final year as a single-digit number and that she has already put in a lot of work this year. Blunt simply wants to spend some time at home with her family.
