One thing that fans hate more than anything is the delayed release of an upcoming movie/series and such. And as it happened a lot has been going on for HBO at the moment with the many big shows such as The White Lotus, The Last Of Us, etc, and the work on their upcoming new seasons.
Factors including the covid-19 pandemic led to many new seasons being postponed. One such series is Euphoria. Just like the second season’s delay, the third season of the show has been repeatedly postponed due to several reasons.
And now the recent news of the third season releasing in 2025 has undoubtedly enraged fans as is evident in the slew of tweets against the news.
Euphoria Season 5’s Postponement Makes Fans Enraged
Recently it was announced that the HBO series Euphoria‘s upcoming third season has been postponed to 2025 instead of the initial date which was supposed to be this year. This also happened with season 2 due to the covid-19 pandemic
With such faraway dates, fans have not been happy with the news and they expressed their annoyance via Twitter recently. One wrote,

Some TV shows have seasons that last for 10 episodes and it takes 3 years for a new season to come out.

Although season 2 got delayed due to the pandemic, the third season has also experienced the same fate. But this time the reasons are several including the main cast such as Zendaya’s tight schedules, and the slew of new seasons for other HBO hits like The Last Of Us, The White Lotus, The Idol, etc.
However the most prominent of all the reasons is the recent Writer’s Strike which has caused a lack of screenwriters. All this has undoubtedly caused not just Euphoria but other shows and their upcoming seasons to get postponed.

And as per reports, most of the main cast which includes Zendaya (Rue Bennett), Sydney Sweeney (Cassie Howard), Alexa Demie (Maddy Perez), and Jacob Elordi (Nate Jacobs) are confirmed to be returning for the third season.
