The Israelian actor Gal Gadot is best known for her breakout role in DC’s Wonder Woman. She came into the media spotlight with the first chapter of the superhero fantasy drama in 2017. She has been associated with one of the reputed franchises Fast And Furious too.
The 38-year-old actor’s action drama Heart Of Stone had been a talking point in Hollywood, way before its release in August 2023. Gal Gadot has been a huge fan of action movies and still believes that the seed of the Heart Of Stone was sown while filming the Wonder Woman installments.
Gal Gadot On How Wonder Woman Led To The Development Of Heart of Stone
During an interview with the reputed media outlet Entertainment Weekly, the Wonder Woman actor spoke about how she had always wanted to be an all-woman action film. She said-
“So many male-led films were made brilliantly, and I just always felt like there’s room for more female-led films. Bond, Mission: Impossible, Bourne Identity, Die Hard — these movies I devour, and I always wanted to play one.”
Gal Gadot feels that without Wonder Woman, the Heart Of Stone would not have come into existence. She pointed out-
“I had an ‘aha!’ moment. I was like, ‘Wait for a second, men go to see [women-led action films too]. We can [make more], so let’s do it.’ I got some confidence and we decided we’re going to start and develop Heart of Stone.”
She would be seen portraying the character of Rachel Stone, an elite agent in the Netflix action-drama. While talking about her character, she said-
“I really wanted to tell a story of a real person that goes through a crazy journey and is told from a female perspective. That was something that excited me, that I wanted to show, that I felt like I hadn’t seen enough. And with Rachel Stone, she’s such a woman of many contradictions.”
After playing a confident and bold character like Wonder Woman in the superhero franchise and Gisele in Fast And Furious, Gal Gadot feels drawn to woman-centric action dramas more in comparison to the other projects.

While responding to Margot Robbie’s response, the actor said-
“Margo, I love you! I’ll do anything with you, I’ll be [in] anything with you!”
