After the mind-boggling success of Game of Thrones, HBO was obviously reluctant to let go of a show that could get its viewership as big as this show. Fans’ undying love for the world created by George R. R. Martin was what sealed the deal for HBO which is now working on several spin-off shows.

House of the Dragon was the first big spin-off series that managed to hit the screens and now while fans wait for its second season, HBO’s CEO Casey Boleyn’s words are probably all the assurance fans need, as he told TV Line:

“We always have Game of Thrones scripts in development. We greenlit Dunk and Egg in the spring. I wouldn’t say there is anything else in that world that is close to a green light or anything, but we are always working on different scripts and ideas.”

Although the highly anticipated Jon Snow series has been canceled, fans need not worry as a lot is in store for them. In the meanwhile, they can hate on the villains that are already there while HBO creates new ones.
