Game of Thrones was among the most popular fantasy drama of this decade. The television series featured some popular casts like Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Pedro Pascal, Maisie Williams, Jack Gleeson, and many more.
After the release of the series, we have Jack Gleeson who appeared as Joffrey Baratheon in Game of Thrones recently signed to play for a new television series by BBC, The Famous Five.

It’s been a few years since the Game of Thrones series ended and after a long gap, we have one of the stars from the series, Jack Gleeson who got another opportunity to work for a new TV series.
Talking about the new series, the star is expected to play for BBC’s The Famous Five.
BBC has already announced that the Irish actor and the star behind famous blockbusters like Batman Begins and In the Land of Saints and Sinners will be playing in their new television series for the character named, Wentworth.
The streaming giant, BBC shared the first look of Gleeson who appeared as Wentworth. A Shine of Rainbows star appears in the new show with brown hair and mustache, however, there is no mention of what sort of attire is used to reflect the star’s character.
About The Famous Five Television Series by BBC
The storyline for The Famous Five series by BBC will be inspired by the popular Enid Blyton’s The Famous Five book series.
Well, we are not going spoil you with a lot of spoilers but we can say that the whole series comes with a great combination of “treacherous, action-packed adventures, remarkable mysteries, unparalleled danger, and astounding secrets.”
Talking about the casting members, the new TV show will be including some popular stars like Diaana Babnicova who will portray as George, and Elliott Rose will cast for the role as Julian.
Kit Rakusen is expected to cast as Dick, Flora Jacob Richards will cast for the character named Anne.
Ann Akinjirin will portray as Fanny, James Lance will cast as Quentin, and last we have Diana Quick who will be appearing as Mrs. Wentworth in the new series.

As of now, there is a release date confirmed for the new BBC’s The Famous Five series.
Considering the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike across Hollywood, there are many upcoming movies and TV series which has been facing a lot of delays as it has been shut down.
