Gerard Pique Desperate to Get Back Together With Shakira After Reported Issues With His New Girlfriend Clara Chia Marti
Gerard Pique and Shakira have gone separate ways in their lives leaving their past behind. They first met in 2010 on the latter’s Waka Waka music video set. After getting smitten by the singer, they started dating each other, making their relationship official the next year through social media. Though the couple never tied the knot, they remained a strong couple until this year when they announced their separation in June.
Amid their joint split, rumors swirl around that the former Barcelona defender was unfaithful in his relationship with the singer, with whom he shares two kids, Milan and Sasha.

When the world was processing the news of the former couple’s split, Gerard Pique went official with his new beau, Clara Chia Marti. Their relationship was reported to be the reason behind his separation from Shakira. In August, the new couple was spotted sharing a passionate smooch at the Summerfest Cerdanya festival in Spain. The new lady love of the former player is a 23-year-old PR student, who works under Pique’s company Kosmos. As per the previous reports by Papparazzi Jordi Martin, they had been dating each other for “about a year.”
As per the reports, their new relationship seems to be turning cold due to the extreme media attention they received. The reason behind media pressure is the fact that Marti became the center of Pique’s breakup with the Hips Don’t Lie singer. It’s not a secret that this year was extremely hard for the mother of two who had to go through a lot in addition to her breakup, which is why Marti also had to face media pressure while dating her popular beau.
She reportedly did not stand the harassment of the media and was pursued by them leaving no personal space for her blooming romance. Especially the fact that Pique was unfaithful, she ultimately became an attraction. The constant pressure on her made their relationship quite difficult which might affect their relationship.
Will Gerard Pique Be Back to Shakira?
The former couple had always gone through several ups and downs before they ended their relationship through a joint statement. They had been discussing their children’s custody after their split however things have finally calmed down a little as the Colombian star got full custody of her children. While her ex-beau got visitation rights to see his kids whenever he wants.
The agreement happened “after 12 hours of negotiation” with the kids staying with Pique till Christmas and will leave to live in Miami with their mother in early 2023. Now that the custody battle is done, Pique would have to focus on his children. Amid his relationship with the PR student, he is not looking quite happy as the recent pictures photographed of the couple gave a sense of discouragement to both.
Even though they are going through a rough patch, Shakira is solely focused on her children and will ultimately move to further strengthen her professional career.
