Former Supermodel Gisele Bündchen wrote in her book that, during her modeling career, she was feeling trapped, she glanced out to her apartment balcony for a split-second and pondered a dark feeling, she wrote,
“When I had a panic attack, I thought I was going to die. I was scared. I couldn’t breathe. And what I realized was that I am creating this for myself.”
She had to complete her fits no matter what time she went to bed the previous night, she said,
“It really wasn’t a very glamorous scene. Only rarely did anyone offer me a glass of water, and some people felt free to be critical to my face.”
There were times, however, when she felt mainly uncovered, and in an interview, she described the provision she had when wearing skimpy clothes from the brand. She wrote,
“For the first five years, I felt comfortable modeling in lingerie, but as time passed, I felt less and less at ease being photographed walking the runway wearing just a bikini or a thong. Give me a tail, a cape, wings—please, anything to cover me up a little!”
