One of Hollywood’s most loved actors Brendan Fraser left people wondering when he took almost a decade-long break from Tinsel Town. But even after such a long absence, he had a major return last year with the critically acclaimed film The Whale in which he plays the role of a morbidly overweight man.
And this year another of his promising movies directed by Martin Scorsese is already on its way which also stars Leonardo Dicaprio.

After giving one of his best and most memorable performances in 2022’s The Whale, Brendan Fraser is returning in another promising project by Martin Scorsese this year. The movie titled Killers of the Flower Moon is based on the novel of the same title by David Grann which is a Western epic set in 1920s America.
Following the news, fans expressed their happiness and showered Scorsese with praise for casting Fraser. One tweeted,

The movie also stars Leonardo Dicaprio and the story focuses on a murder case occurring in the 1920s and involves the FBI. The role seems to be a stark contrast from the one Fraser played in The Whale.
This time as fans pointed out his character gives off more of The Irishman vibe. The actor has a good history with movies including a lot of action scenes, for example, in The Mummy series.
A Brief Look at Brendan Fraser’s Film Career
Brendan Fraser had a very good start in Hollywood. With films like The George Of the Jungle, The Mummy series, etc., he made a solid footing in the industry. However, it seems that after falling victim to s*xual harassment by Hollywood Foreign Press Association ex-President Philip Berk in 2003 as alleged by Fraser, his career started wavering a little. And many other issues surfaced in his life in between.
For one, he got hospitalized for seven years due to various injuries inflicted during movie shoots. Also, his mother passed away in 2016. All of these factors played a role in his absence from Hollywood between 2014 and 2021.
