Good Morning America 3 Names New Hosts Months after T.J. Holmes, Amy Robach Bid it Goodbye
Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan are set to take over Good Morning America after the love birds T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach exited the show. Although the two left the show in the name of diversity and growth, the duo was put on suspension after their romance came to light. Turns out that the electric chemistry that the audience witnesses on screen is also true in real life after the two were caught kissing and showing affection toward one another in public. ABC News recently announced that the show is back on track with its brand-new co-hosts.
Turns out both of the new co-hosts for the show aren’t at all new and have had a relationship with the network for quite some time now. Daily viewers of the show are now eagerly waiting for the show to kick off.
Meet the new hosts of Good Morning America
After a mere four months of Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes‘ departure from the show to continue their love fest, the studio is finally ready with the new hosts of the early morning talk show. Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan are set to fill the shoes of the former hosts.
Eva Pilgrim has been co-anchoring Good Morning America on weekends since 2018, documenting high-profile breaking news. Whereas, Morgan is a fairly new correspondent who joined the network only the previous year. Dr. Jennifer Ashton will also be joining as usual. President Kim Godwin, of the ABC News Team, shared the news via a memo. He said,
“I know these programs – and our viewers at home – will be well-served by all of their collective talents,”
This marks a huge change for the show, the fans are excited to see how the new hosts fit into their schedules as well as their hearts. The new talents are very excited as well, with Morgan sharing that this is his dream come true on the social media platform, Instagram.
Why did Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes leave GMA?
Following the news of their romantic relationship, the duo stopped appearing on the show and were temporarily replaced by Benitez and Stephanie Ramos. As the news of their whirlwind romance started getting traction, the two the President of the network stated,
“GMA decided to have a period of cooling down, because they thought this was unwanted attention so, for the time being, they’re going to be off the air,”
The duo was seen time and again getting cozy during their vacations, while they were allegedly in their respective marriages. It was later revealed the two had come out from their respective prior commitments long before the couple started seeing each other. Eventually, the two announced that they had decided to “move on” from ABC News in late January to pursue their love story. In reality, the pair were asked to leave by the network, and they gladly took the offer. Robcah and Holnes are still going strong, fans are still eager to see what are they up to these days.
