‘Good thing you are studying law Kim’: Fans Troll Kim Kardashian’s Lawyer Career After Instagram Scam Forces Her into $40M Lawsuit, Selling Personal Info to Conmen
Keeping the Kardashians out of a controversy is not an easy task. Being a part of the conversation is a part of their family business (not to mention good for the show), even though it is not in a good light. That is the source of their fame but has brought them a lot of infamies. Kim Kardashian finds herself in a similar spot right now. She got allegedly greedy, and that greed seems to have caught up with her, AGAIN! And if the reports are true, Kim K could be in for a very big nightmare.
Lawsuit filed against Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick for fake lottery scam
Kim Kardashian, who recently revealed on The Late Late Show With James Corden that she is pursuing law, finds herself on the wrong side of it. She has been named in a $40 million class action suit, along with Scott Disick.
Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick sued for $40 MILLION over alleged Instagram scam.
The pair were both named in a lawsuit along with the company Curated for a giveaway which was allegedly a front to sell personal information to advertisers.

The charge against them? Duping their fans for money, and promoting a fake lottery. The lottery, organized all the way back in 2020, was hosted by a company called Curated Businesses.
Now it has come to light that it was all a scam, and the giveaways, which Kim K had promoted herself, were all fake. Twitter seems to be rejoicing the famed name getting a well-deserved payback.

The winner was set to win $100,000, a 3-night stay in Beverly Hills, and two first-class tickets to Los Angeles. They could even “shop like Kim Kardashian”. Poor fellas. They got hoodwinked big time by Kim Kardashian.

The lawsuit also disclosed that the real reason behind the lottery was something else altogether – stealing the participants’ personal details.
Participants spammed with unwanted messages, now asking for compensation
But the lawsuit doesn’t claim that the participants returned empty-handed. It claims that all the participants have received one thing – unwanted messages. According to the lawsuit, people are getting “invaded by hundreds of advertisers, some of which are soliciting the Plaintiffs with potentially offensive and unwanted content.” The document said,
“Just a short 20 years ago, Oprah was giving away cars and cash. But today’s entertainment tycoons seem to only care about becoming richer and living an even more opulent lifestyle while duping their fans and followers.”
While they are denying the claims, Curated Businesses, in particular, being really active about clearing the allegations leveled against it, the clarifications have had little impact. Their claim that the whole thing was legitimate and they had documentary proof to show that the winners were awarded their prizes, the lawsuit has been gaining traction, and has listed the names of Kim Kardashian, Scott Disick, and Curated Businesses as the primary accused.
Twitter calls this the best time for Kim Kardashian to put her legal knowledge to use
But Twitter claims Kim K can handle the pressure now. She will not be bogged down by the claims and will fight to prove her innocence in a court of law. She is a wannabe lawyer after all. And she is gonna be a real one soon enough. So who would be better than herself to handle her case? Twitter was running wild with jokes that claimed Kim Kardashian would put her knowledge of the law to good practice for helping “someone in need”. That was her aim after all, wasn’t it?
You the lawyer, shawty. DO SOMETHING. 😂😂😂😂😂

And if she can’t help herself, it is indeed time for her ‘lawyer’ partner to become her knight in shining armor.

For now, the outlook is not very certain for Kim Kardashian, Scott Disick, and Curated Businesses, who still have a lot to do. It remains to be seen how the situation evolves.
