Hailey Bieber is being up about her concerns about having children. She is eager to have children but just needs to overcome her nerves. Although both of them have stated their wish to have children together, the Rhode Skin founder is preventing it. After a brief romance that ended in early 2016, the two rekindled their romance a few years later in June 2018. Justin Bieber proposed one month later, and the two were wed in November of the same year.
Why Is Hailey Bieber Scared Of Having Children With Justin Bieber?
Hailey Bieber said in an interview with The Sunday Times on May 14 that she hopes to have children with her husband Justin Bieber in the future. But she is concerned about their public personas and the scrutiny they have to endure.
“I literally cry about this all the time!” Hailey shared with the outlet, per People. “I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.”
But she’s not letting her fears hold her back entirely. “We can only do the best we can to raise them,” she added. “As long as they feel loved and safe.”
Hailey Bieber has brought up the idea of having children before also. She admitted to Harper’s Bazaar in August of last year that marriage and family preparation are challenging tasks. She said,
“At the end of the day, like, he’s my best friend, but it still does take a lot of work to make it work. And then I know eventually, when kids come in the picture, that’s going to be a whole other season of navigating how to make that work.”
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber has been open about having baby fever. In a 2020 interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Justin opened up about one day wanting to have kids with his wife.
“I’m going to have as many as Hailey wants to push out”, the Sorry singer admitted.
“I’d love to have myself a little tribe. But, yeah, it’s her body and whatever she wants to do… I think she wants to have a few”.
Hailey Bieber continued, speaking candidly about her own upbringing in the spotlight,
“When you’re out and about and people are stopping your dad or uncle and asking for pictures, you start to understand why.”
She wore a t-shirt with the words “Nepo-Baby” on the front in January of this year.
“That was me being, like, ‘I’m very aware of the situation’,” she told The Times.
Hailey Bieber Opened Up About Her Mental Health Struggles
Hailey Bieber thought about the criticism, particularly from Selena Gomez fans, before talking about the potential of one day welcoming tiny Biebers. She started getting death threats back in March after she was charged with making fun of Gomez during a FaceTime with Kylie Jenner. Following the backlash, she shared personal details about her mental health in an Instagram post a month later. She stated, “I like to make jokes about how I feel because sometimes it’s easier than admitting I’m having a hard time,” adding that 2023 had contained some of the worst experiences of her adult life. “To put it mildly, my mind and emotions have been fragile.”
After learning that Hailey Bieber was receiving death threats, Selena Gomez requested her followers to stop the vitriol, which had continued for weeks. The Fetish singer posted on her Instagram Stories, “This isn’t what I stand for.” “Hatred or bullying shouldn’t ever have to happen to anyone. I’ve always pushed for kindness and am anxious for this to end,” she added.
Hailey Bieber also discussed the response she received following her ministroke in March 2022 in her interview with The Sunday Times. “It was on the internet the day after I was hospitalized,” she claimed, explaining, “Sometimes I do just want to curl up and be a hermit, like, ‘If this is how people feel maybe I should just stay home.’ But I’m really not that kind of person.”
Hailey Bieber and the Baby singer secretly tied the knot at a courthouse in New York in September 2018.
The happy couple went on to celebrate the occasion with a lavish wedding ceremony in South Carolina in September 2019, surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
