Hawkeye Star Jeremy Renner’s Condition is “much worse than anyone knows”, Might Need Years to Recover From Snow Plow Accident
In contrast to what people wish for in the holidays, Jeremy Renner faced a horrible accident last December (2022). He had been helping a stranded family in the snow near his mansion. Unfortunately and unexpectedly a snowcat machine ran over Renner. The actor was immediately rushed to the intensive care unit (ICU). Among other body parts, his chest suffered the most injury as it was almost all crushed. The Hawkeye star is still in the hospital undergoing treatment which seems like it would go on longer. Renner himself updated his fans sometime after he was rushed to the hospital with a selfie showing his injured self.
But unfortunately for his fans, they might not see the actor back on the screen any time soon. According to his close friends, the Avengers actor’s injuries are much more serious, and therefore it is going to take a lot of time to heal.
Jeremy Renner’s Condition is More Serious Than it Seems
It has been almost a month since Jeremy Renner’s actual snowplow accident occurred. And he is still undergoing treatment which might stretch up to more than a year. Recently it has come to light that even after two surgeries, Renner might probably need to undergo some more in order completely get treated for his injuries.
In fact, his chest injury was so bad that according to a source his chest had to be “reconstructed”. Even close friends of Renner have recently shared something along the same line with Radar Online saying,
“It’s much worse than anyone knows. Jeremy is very aware of the fact that he almost died out there.”
And reportedly he will require more than a whole year to get back to his former healthier version. It is mainly because the stream of surgeries will require time to get to work and the natural body healing to kick in. Although the Wind River actor is able to communicate perfectly however his body is stuck to his treatment bed for now.
How Did The Injury Take Place?
In December 2022 during the holiday season, Jeremy Renner tried to help out a family stranded in the snow. The scene was in the vicinity of his California mansion. However, things took an unfortunate turn for the actor as a snowcat machine weighing 14330 pounds accidentally ran over Renner. The actor’s rep revealed afterward that he had suffered “blunt chest trauma”, a leg injury, and even his head had been wounded. Moreover, reportedly he almost “bled to death” as he had been lying there waiting for help to arrive. And after the Avenger actor was rushed to the emergency unit, an insider shared,
“He has returned from surgery and will remain in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition,”
Furthermore, the actor is staying mentally strong and has made “healing” a main priority. Additionally, he has his family’s love and supports all the time.
