Donald Trump is waiting for his potential arrest. He said so himself, he might get arrested due to his alleged involvement in paying an adult film star hush money. His legal team has been preparing and waiting for the indictment for a while now. And he has since requested his followers to protest the action.
It is of no doubt that people don’t particularly agree with the individual’s thoughts and actions. Countless memes about the personality have proved that sentiment time and again. On that note, here is a throwback to when Jimmy Kimmel absolutely destroyed Donald Trump for his antics.

Jimmy Kimmel brutally roasts Donald Trump
When it comes to political matters, not many are well-versed in the subject. Jimmy Kimmel claims Donald Trump is one of them. He has joked about the personality time and again, this time he outdid himself. In 2017 on his show, he claimed Donald Trump is totally confused about the healthcare system in their nation and is not at all capable of shouldering the responsibilities of the entire USA. He said,
“He likes to have his name on things: buildings, vodka, you name it. At this point he would sign anything if it meant getting rid of Obamacare. He’d sign copies of the Quran at the Barnes and Noble in Fallujah if it meant he could get rid of Obamacare…He doesn’t know the difference between Medicare and Medicaid; he barely knows the difference between Melania and Ivanka.”
He then proceeded to crack a joke on how confused he looks all the time and stated, he can’t tell the difference between his wife and daughter. Although, the joke garnered a lot of praise from the people it did not sit right with Trump.
Other celebrities who don’t agree with Trump’s antics
Many celebrities alongside Jimmy Kimmel have now expressed their opinion toward Trump. Meryl Streep was one of them. While accepting the Cecil B. DeMille award for lifetime achievement at the Golden Globes, in January 2017 she took the time to convey her disbelief of Trump getting elected. She described a heartbreaking incident which stated why the hate Trump receives is justifiable. She said,
“There was one performance this year that stunned me. It sank its hooks in my heart. Not because it was good. There was nothing good about it.— It kind of broke my heart when I saw it. I still can’t get it out of my head because it wasn’t in a movie. It was real life. And this instinct to humiliate, when it’s modeled by someone in the public platform, by someone powerful, it filters down into everybody’s life, because it kind of gives permission for other people to do the same thing. Disrespect invites disrespect. Violence incites violence. When the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose.”
Stephen Colbert, a fellow late-night talk show host to Jimmy Kimmel also shared his sentiments and stated,
“Comedy will not stop him. The democratic process—that’s it. The democratic process will stop this guy. It’s the only way. That’s it.”
From Miley Cyrus to Madonna, to even J.K. Rowling herself, nobody was left behind when it came to sharing their thoughts on Donald Trump. So turns out Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t the only one who was disappointed with the 45th president of the nation.
