In the same year, Emily Blunt also starred in the fashion comedy-drama The Devil Wears Prada. The movie featured Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep in lead roles and became one of the highest-grossing movies of the year.

While speaking about how she felt that she wasn’t being trusted, Blunt said:

“We just chatted about God knows what and he went, ‘Alright, so I’ve got this movie that we’re gonna make, Oppenheimer if you’ve heard. So if you’d like to have a look at the role Kitty Oppenheimer, I’d love you to do it’…and then you’re handed the script on red paper because apparently, you can’t photocopy red paper. He doesn’t trust me.”

It’s worth noting that Blunt was seemingly kidding about not being trusted with the script. The usage of red paper is a standard practice in the movie industry to avoid scripts being copied or leaked.
